Mirdjalol Kasimov’s AGMK side ended a winless run of four matches in dramatic style on Tuesday, relying on an 89th-minute goal from Jasur Umarov to claim a 3-2 win over fourth placed Bunyodkor, cutting Pakhtakor’s commanding lead to eight points.

Nasaf’s outing 24 hours earlier was far simpler, with Islom Kenjabaev and Bobur Abdikholikov both scoring twice in a comprehensive 5-0 win over struggling Surkhon.

Super League action continues to come thick and fast in the week ahead, with six matches scheduled between Friday and Sunday.
